 Bernardo Silva dreams of Real Madrid


The Portuguese midfielder has not given up on leaving Man City to have a new experience in leagues outside the Premier League.

According to ESPN, the Man City midfielder is looking to join Real Madrid after this season ends. The contract between Silva and Man City will expire in June 2025.


In the summer of 2021, Silva expressed his desire to leave to "find a new experience". Coach Pep Guardiola also confirmed this information. However, none of the partners could meet the transfer fee of this deal.

Sharing about Silva's case in December 2021, Pep admitted: "He wants to experience and challenge himself in another tournament. That's normal and understandable, but it didn't happen. We had can enjoy his talent longer."


Real Madrid is looking to gradually change the staff in midfield when Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are 37 and 32 years old, respectively. The signing of Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes in the summer of 2021 is part of this plan.


Silva could be a good choice for Real Madrid if the Spanish Royal team really considers this deal. The Portuguese midfielder will turn 28 years old next August and still perform at his best for Man City this season.


Silva has 10 goals and 3 assists in 34 games for Man City in all competitions. Pep always gives many winged compliments to the Portuguese midfielder.


Man City won Sporting Lisbon 5-0 last weekend away in the first leg of the 1/8 Champions League round. Silva scored 2 goals in this victory. Pep did not regret praising his student after the match ended.


He said: "Silva can play in six roles easily. Not only does he play the ball, he understands the game. There are players who are good with the ball, but Silva understands the game, and understands it exactly. what I need to do in every action. There are very few players in the world like him."


According to Transfermarkt, Silva is valued at £67.5 million.
